Please read these terms carefully before using the KURO platform.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the KURO application, developed by Orange Sands Ltd, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

2. Voluntary Participation

Onboarding by residents is entirely voluntary.

You are not required to register on KURO to access your property or receive visitors.
Traditional manual visitor registration at the gate remains available.
Your decision not to use the digital system will not result in any penalties or restrictions on your property rights.
You may opt out of the system at any time by contacting your Facility Management.

3. Limitation of Liability

Crucial Notice:

KURO is a data recording and visitor management tool. We are NOT a private security firm, nor are we law enforcement.

We are not liable for any theft, property damage, or personal injury that occurs within the managed facility (Estate, Commercial Building, School, or Logistics Hub).
We do not guarantee that the system will prevent unauthorized entry if security personnel fail to use it correctly.
The Facility Management or Estate Committee retains full responsibility for physical security protocols.

4. Hardware & Equipment

Any hardware (Tablets, Phones, Power Banks) provided by Orange Sands Ltd or purchased by the Client remains under the care of the on-site Security Team.

Devices must be used solely for KURO operations.
Personal use (Social Media, Personal Calls) is strictly prohibited and may result in service suspension.
The Client is financially responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged hardware.

5. Account Security

Security Personnel: You are responsible for keeping your PIN code confidential. Do not share your login with other guards. Logs created under your ID are your responsibility.

Authorized Hosts (Residents, Tenants, Staff): You are responsible for all invite codes generated under your profile. Do not generate codes for unknown persons or unauthorized drivers.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms, including but not limited to: non-payment of subscription fees, misuse of hardware, or falsifying data records.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved in the courts of Nairobi.
